Spoke 3 intends to make a contribution to the development of the vast field of knowledge, whose relevance is now recognised internationally, that is usually grouped under the term ‘Digital Humanities’. Humanities informatics is not promoted from privileged scientific fields, but involves all knowledge in the literary, philological and linguistic spheres in order to foster the development of digital tools that can be used by scholars of different backgrounds.
Spoke 3 works on projects that enable a use of intangible cultural assets that can be ecologically and scientifically sustainable on the one hand, and on the other hand that guarantees accessibility of knowledge regardless of the technological tool used.
Spoke 3 aims at the establishment of an integrated digital study environment, in which a multitude of tools can be used in a virtuous way in order to realise projects of humanistic interest with multiple functionalities. For this, the activities in which the various partners are involved place particular emphasis on the interoperability of research products.
